About this template
Your own messenger, on your own domain, for a team, a school, a building or a community. The conversation list carries the last message, the time and what is still unread; the thread opens beside it, with the photo and the presence of whoever is on the other side. Groups and one-to-one chats use the same screen. Read receipts are per participant, and the rule about who reads what lives in the database: only people in the conversation can see it, even if someone goes straight at the API. It ships with conversations, groups, contacts and sample messages so you can see the structure working.
